Support for Families
The Stirixi Family Support Program assists low-income and large families living below the poverty line, referred to us by the Reception and Solidarity Center of the Municipality of Athens (KYADA).
Our volunteers visit these families regularly, about five to six times a year, offering essential goods such as:
Food (dry and fresh)
Household cleaning products
New clothing
Toys, books, and other useful items
Personal Contact
Through this personal contact, we stay close to the families’ everyday challenges and help find solutions wherever possible.
In addition, we provide:
Medical, psychological, and dental care through volunteer professionals
Speech therapy
Home tutoring for children
All goods and services are donated by individuals, companies, and sponsors, whom our team approaches through continuous and organized efforts throughout the year , despite the difficulties of today’s social and economic environment.
Through this program, Stirixi aims not only to relieve immediate needs but also to empower and socially integrate the families we support.
