Event Organization
In the summer of 2025, Stirixi launched a new initiative to combine fundraising with cultural engagement. The idea: guided visits to lesser-known museums in Athens, followed by a group meal at a nearby restaurant or taverna.
The goal is twofold , to raise additional funds for families in need and to highlight the cultural richness of Athens’ neighborhoods, bringing people together through shared experiences.
This initiative aims to open Stirixi’s circle to an even wider community, to breathe life into local areas, and most importantly , to transform a love for culture into acts of solidarity.
Cultural Walks in the Neighborhoods of Athens
Continuing in the same spirit, Stirixi plans to host nights dedicated to emerging artists and musicians.
Each evening will begin with a short live performance, offering a platform for young talent to share their work and connect with the audience. The night will then continue with a festive gathering.
The goal of these events is not only to raise funds for the families Stirixi supports but also to build new connections , attracting new friends and volunteers to join our growing community.
Through these gatherings, Stirixi unites culture and compassion, creating opportunities that both uplift artists and strengthen our mission.
Evenings Showcasing Young Artists
Stirixi is designing and implementing a special program to give children living in institutions, orphanages, and shelters the chance to experience the joy of summer holidays.
The pilot program was carried out in collaboration with two hotels that offered accommodation and local restaurateurs who provided meals.
An activity program was also organized so that the children could enjoy a full, carefree experience.
Through this initiative, children from the Ark of the World spent days by the sea, met new people, and created wonderful memories.
Our vision is to expand and establish this program permanently, ensuring that every child , regardless of background , has the right to enjoy a summer holiday.
