Gala of Young Award-Winning Soloists of the Gina Bachauer International Music Association

On February 21, 2025, at the Dimitris Mitropoulos Hall, Stirixi organized the Gala of Young Award-Winning Soloists, in collaboration with the Gina Bachauer International Music Association and with the participation of the Fotini Pavlopoulou Dance School.
The event, entitled "Music for Man", was held to support the aims of the Support and included a rich musical program with works by Schumann, Saint-Saëns, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Debussy, Fauré, Mendelssohn, Ravel, Scriabin, traditional Spanish melodies and improvisations on themes from operas.
Distinguished young soloists participated in the violin, cello, flute, piano and mezzo-soprano, under the musical direction of Alexandros Paparizos and with artistic supervision by Konstantinos P. Karabelas – Sgourdas.
This evening was a shining example of how art and culture can be connected to social service, essentially supporting families in need.
